I called Kathy Baldwin to know what she loves so much about Olympia, as she is one of our absolute power users. And there she was - a happy, cheerful, and accomplished businesswoman, doing what she loves and making an impact in the world.
Kathy is a visionary in the realms of personal transformation and women's empowerment, with over four decades of experience learning from more than a hundred leading minds in psychology, biology, quantum physics, and personal development. Her profound journey of healing and self-discovery was catalyzed by the failure of the traditional medical system, which often relies on pills and platitudes rather than addressing root causes. This realization led Kathy to create her own innovative and unique system focused on true transformation and personal alignment.
I am happy to share her story with you today.
Hi, I’m Kathy. I am the girl next door, the every woman, every child and every daughter. I was born in the 60s in Canada at a time when women’s rights and computers merged with old-fashioned rules of what was right and proper.
If I had to define my formative years, there were vast contradictions everywhere. If I had to define who I was, it would be an unbelievable curiosity to know everything and everyone and a really big personality. I used to always say that I would die either because of my curiosity or if I was born at another time in history, I would have been burned as a witch.
I came from strong entrepreneurs and survivors and tried to fit into the corporate world. I could always see possibilities, potential, and opportunities. I had so many ideas that I know I drove almost every employer crazy.
Because of my insatiable curiosity, constant learning and innovative ideas I became what they now call “neurodiverse”. I was in sales, direct sales, and sales management and took every course available, especially on human motivators and behavior. Then I wanted to know the other side of the equation so I became a buyer. I realized that I didn’t fit into the mold of an employee, so I ventured off into the new world of online businesses and created three fantastic businesses that changed the world (for someone else because I ran out of money before the ideas came to fruition). I was interested in the stock market, home design, biology, psychology, neurology, sociology, geology and spirituality plus so much more.
I guess that sums up why my life and I turned out like I did. I wanted to be, see, hear, explore everything and yet I was the good girl. I yearned for undying love like my ancestors and fairy tales, yet I was a people pleaser. I loved to express myself in words especially. I love words. Written words, spoken words, and song lyrics. Words have always been my safe place.
But I was also constantly told to play small, don’t be so loud, don’t be so dramatic, don’t be too thin, don’t be too fat, don’t make anyone uncomfortable around you, don’t be so smart that you emasculate men.
No wonder I carried constant stress, created fibromyalgia, adrenal fatigue, osteoarthritis and constant never ending pain for over thirty years. During that time nobody understood the connections between stress, trauma and health, but I sure do now.
Because I was so strong, I could and did handle everything that came my way. I solved everyone’s problems, I carried everyone’s burdens and was the one that everyone could count on. Except for myself, I always put myself on the back burner and cried, “when will it be my turn?”
I have since learned that you can only betray yourself and your body for so long and eventually you will break. You can only give so many pieces of yourself away, to so many people, before you are empty.
My final breakdown was brutal, life changing and life saving. It was the worst and the best for me. I lost everything that I tried so hard to hang on to and found myself. I looked outside of myself for answers with the medical community and eventually had to utilize everything I had learned, healed myself, and discovered the power is always within. When my body, mind and soul healed I discovered ME and what a relief it was to feel whole. I had never experienced that before.
It was such a pivotal life changing moment for me that of course I dove right in. I created RiseUP Coaching and my signature programs from my innovative healing journey that is unlike anything else out there. I wrote the book Unlearn the Crap about Personal Success and Empowerment, and I found my voice and became an international speaker and writer.
My passion and mission is to help women reinvent themselves, achieve their goals, and live life intentionally and consciously. We have been taught how to live in society, how to get a job, and how to be of service to others. We have absolutely been taught and groomed how to be workers and consumers for others’ profits, living in debt and servitude.
We have NOT been taught how to:
Access our inner resources that we all already have, to live in alignment with the Law of Attraction.
Take back control of our body, emotions and stressors removing depression, anxiety and burnout.
Live in alignment with our beliefs, values and goals achieving peace, passion and prosperity.
Release past trauma, pain and limitations that have kept us from our personal fulfillment, purpose and true inner joy.
Create meaningful friendships and relationships that are supportive and uplifting.
AND IT’S OUR TIME NOW!
The Musements by Kathy Baldwin
Musement means a state of thinking. It is proactive, not passive. It requires intentional effort on the part of the person being "mused." It is much more satisfying and fulfilling than mere amusement. It’s stimulating, too, but in this case, in order to get the input, the participant needs to be actively engaged.
Everything is energy, and everything matters. We are more powerful than we have been told because we are a part of “everything.”
We are physically the conduit between the unseen energy to the seen physical creation.
Our thoughts and emotions create our reality, and we have the power to direct those resources intentionally.
There are no coincidences or accidents, only alignments.
Alignment within ourselves is imperative to harness our true full power.
When we understand that we are biochemical, mechanical, and electromagnetic beings, exactly the same as our machines and inventions, we can know how to operate ourselves within this world.
Disease is a creation of misalignments within ourselves and our world.
If we can create the disease within our world, we can heal the same disease with our knowledge and understanding.
It is our own personal responsibility to be independent and self-reliant.
Our life is our purpose, and when we do not seize that responsibility and amazing gift, we become dependent and controllable.
